Care Quality Commission (CQC) Review – 2022/23

We are thrilled to announce that The Grange Medical Practice has once again been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in their latest report published in 2022.

The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England, and their inspection process provides a thorough assessment of the quality of care we provide to our patients. The latest report highlights several key strengths of our practice, including:

  • Safe and effective care: The inspectors found that we have systems in place to keep patients safe from harm and that we deliver effective care based on up-to-date evidence.
  • Responsive services: Our patients reported that they felt listened to and treated with respect, and that their needs were taken into account when making decisions about their care.
  • Well-led practice: The CQC noted that our leadership team is visible and approachable, and that staff are well-supported and motivated.

While we are proud of our Good rating, we are always striving to improve. We are committed to achieve Outstanding rating in the coming years and will continue to work hard to provide the best possible care for our patients.

A Note on 2023 Review:

You may be aware that the CQC conducted a focused review of the practice in 2023. However, after careful consideration, they determined that a full re-assessment of the practice was not necessary. This means that our Good rating from the 2022 inspection remains in place.

We are grateful to the CQC in conducting these inspections. Their feedback is valuable and helps us to continue to provide high-quality care to our patients.
