Pregnancy Wellbeing Group – Talking Therapies

Are you pregnant and experiencing anxiety, low mood or struggling to sleep?

A new NHS course is being offered to pregnant women in Kirklees who are experiencing worry, avoiding activities, or have sleep difficulties.

The course is run by Kirklees Talking Therapies in partnership with CHFT Maternity services.

The course will cover:

  • Session 1: Introduction to CBT, wellbeing and anxiety
  • Session 2: Managing Worry
  • Session 3: Problem solving and overcoming barriers
  • Session 4: Panic and tackling avoidance
  • Session 5: Self-care and balancing our activity
  • Session 6: Maintaining progress and further support

The course starts on Wednesday, 17th April 2024 and runs for 6 weeks.

Sessions will be held at Folly Hall Mill and Ravensleigh Resource Unit, 28 Oxford Rd, Dewsbury WF13 4LL from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
